Scheduled Tasks

Schedule agentic AI tasks to run on your terms — once, or on a recurring cadence.

Scheduled Tasks

Agentic AI, on Your Schedule

Turn one-off prompts into recurring agentic workflows. Describe the task, pick a tool and an agent, and choose how often it runs — Cub handles the rest and emails you the result.

1

Open the Create Task dialog

From your Tasks page, click Create task to open the scheduler. This is where you describe the work, pick the tool and agent, and set how often it should run.

Your tasks live on the authenticated /tasks page and are always tied to your CubDen account.

2

Describe the task

Give the task a short name and write the instructions the agent should follow each time it runs. Treat it like a prompt — be specific about the outcome you want.

  • Daily market digest — summarise top crypto news and price moves
  • Weekly repo review — list new issues and PRs that need attention
  • Monthly invoice — draft an invoice from my hours log and email it

The name shows up in your task list. The instructions are the prompt the agent runs on schedule.

3

Select the tool

Pick the tool the agent should reach for — AI reasoning, GitHub, Google, or Web Search. The right tool lets the task fetch real data, not just reply from memory.

Tools are invoked automatically by the agent based on the instructions you provide.

4

Select the agent

Choose which agent runs the task. Cub is the default, but you can pick any agent you've built or saved from the marketplace on your My Agents page.

Different agents have different personas, tools, and system prompts — pick the one best suited to the job.

5

Pick the frequency

Decide when and how often the task runs. Schedule a one-time reminder or set it to repeat on a cadence that fits your workflow.

  • Once

Runs a single time at the scheduled date and time.

  • Daily

Runs every day at the time you pick.

  • Weekly

Runs on a chosen day of the week.

  • Monthly

Runs on a chosen day of the month.

  • Yearly

Runs once a year on a chosen date.

You can edit, stop, or delete any scheduled task from your Tasks page at any time.

6

Get notified when it runs

When the task runs, the agent executes the instructions with the tool you picked and emails you the result — so you see the output without needing to check in.

Results are also saved to your account so you can review previous runs later.

Requires a CubDen account

Scheduled tasks are tied to your account so your prompts, schedules, and results stay private and in sync.
